Best Friends
Best Friends started with little fanfare and even fewer resources: creating a sanctuary for homeless and special-needs animals literally from the ground up, forging roadways, and erecting buildings with their bare hands. They were creating a better world through kindness to animals.
labelle foundation
The Labelle Foundation is a Los Angeles foster based 501(c)(3) animal rescue devoted to saving, rehabilitating, and advocating for dogs. Through engaging the community far and wide, The Labelle Foundation aims to serve the animal rescue community by specializing in neonatal orphans, medical dogs and mothers and babies. Their goal is to help the animals they rescue find loving forever families, save as many lives as possible, and educate on the importance of responsible dog ownership.
Waitt Foundation
The Waitt Foundation takes a hands-on, partnership-oriented approach to fund projects and campaigns aimed at ending overfishing, creating Marine Protected Areas, facilitating Marine Spatial Planning, and raising public awareness about the rapid decline in ocean health. The Waitt Foundation’s principal goal is to support governments in achieving their own sustainable fisheries, "Blue Prosperity," and ocean conservation goals.
